When a young family buys an apartment, it wants the environment to be warm and welcoming, especially in current conditions, and this means a multitude of agreements. We proposed for a 3 -room apartment, with a total area of 90 square meters, a warm and bright approach, based on accents with wooden plots. The owners, a young family with a child, wanted a current and warm environment, a functional furniture. Although the kitchen is open to the living room and room, we organized the space so that everything necessary for the kitchen is present, but the final image of the decoration is not changed.
Light and current apartment, arranged in Bucharest
The warm and welcoming image of the house can be seen from the entrance. The room has been decorated and furnished in order to talk about a warm environment, wood. In addition to the wooden parquet and comfort at the entrance, the wooden lips continue the plots and shades of the wood, vertically. The environment is integrated by a generous library and lift in gray tones.
The kitchen, open to the room and living room, has been treated as a unitary one, the basic combination is the same as the bet in the room: gray and wooden plots. The large and high windows allow the natural light of flooding the space and lack of the delimitation wall has allowed us to install an island as a meal. We have created two battle areas and sufficient storage space both in suspended and lower bodies. The furniture were configured according to the project and made to order.
The living room space is separated from the kitchen and the room area through wood files. The furniture was designed so that it is a complement to the room and the kitchen, so I opted for the combination of gray with wooden plots. The living room has a generous sofa and a wooden library, pieces chosen especially for this space. The rest of the furniture comes to complete the warm and welcoming environment. The white curtains and the balance chair perfectly complete the living room and print the feeling of airy space. Both the fireplace and the wooden trunks located under the library add more consistency to the room and strengthen the idea of landing with wooden accents. The neutral tones, the gray, wood, clean and simple lines predominate in the living room and some accents feel immediately – decorative cushions and green plants.
For the double bedroom I chose a piece of furniture made in order, the basic combination in this room was white, gray and wood plots and the personalization made with the help of decorative objects. The work area is severely necessary and can serve both as a desk and as a toilet table. The bed is classified in white suspended bodies that continue with wooden booting tables in wood. Through the shadow of the bed cover, a new color, pale pink, which perfectly integrates the furniture, has been introduced into the environment.
The child’s bedroom was organized in white and wooden plots. The furniture is simple, built to order that the function for the sleeping area and the play area are satisfied. The bed area has been customized by the color of the wall: the shadow of green pepper mint fills the wooden plots and the white bed.
The bathroom was treated ordered and simple, with special finishes. I chose ceramic tiles in gray tones for white floors and walls and sanitary items. Being a bathroom with a rather large surface, I also opted for generous conservation spaces, in wood plots.
The apartment has been completely modernized, from electrical installations, thermal to finishes and to restore the bathrooms, and the result is according to the expectations of the owners.
