We recently completed a project to organize a 2 -chamber apartment (45 sqm) from Sinaia, intended exclusively for Airbnb Rent. It was a real challenge, beautiful, especially because the owners are our colleagues, enthusiasts of design and winter sports. They wanted an apartment with an interesting design in order to attract the attention of tourists looking for accommodation for a few days, a functional space, with personality. A bedroom where you want to sleep in the middle of a forest, a living room like a cottage, enough space for skiing and snowboard equipment: from these ideas I started and proposed a decoration through which every corner of the apartment leads you to nature. Let’s see what came out!
The welcoming image of the house is observed from the entrance to the apartment. We chose to organize the mainly white room for an orderly appearance, but also to visually enlarge the space. The role of the hook is detected by the wall decorated with wood files and the tile with a geometric motif offers the room a sophisticated and at the same time minimalist air.
The living room was arranged in neutral shades, the attention that turned towards the ceiling, for which I chose a shade of green forest. The place of the sofa is highlighted through the white brick wall and artificial lighting. On the side of the sofa there is the radiator that I painted black, which offers depth to the space. The painting positioned above the sofa, the green plant and decorative cushions perfectly complete the furniture.
The central area of the living room is completed by an artificial fur carpet and a table; We have avoided loading space just to facilitate traffic in the room. The partial wall that separates the lacing from the balcony has been designed in such a way that natural light enters as much as possible. The TV is positioned in front of the sofa, together with a shelf of wooden textures and a white fireplace, thus completing a warm and welcoming environment. The wall in the TV area is supplied with a decorative plating.
The place for the dining room is located near the wall from the entrance to the living room, marked by specific furniture – table and chairs – but also by the decorative wallpaper with a geometric motif that comes to complete the entire space. I vertically mounted a laminated wood panel, with a decorative role, for a pleasant environment.
The bedroom is probably the most unique space, completely different from the rest of the provisions I worked on. Mainly arranged in a shade of greenery, the bedroom of appointments has a bed in the center with a metal frame, completed by 2 wooden bed tables. For the wall behind the bed I chose a decorative background with fir trees, which completes the idea of nature and forest. I decorated the rest of the walls and the ceiling with green cushions to create the illusion of the forest and nature.
In front of the bed there was a place of relaxation, with a gray armchair located right next to the window, and the radiator is painted in the same shade of green of the rest of the room.
The kitchen is also arranged in a shade of green and wood -eighth furniture. I opted for black for both the work surface and for household appliances, the battery and the sink. The installations and the work area are arranged on a single wall, this is tiled in a brown shade to accentuate the idea of nature. In front of the window I put a bench that has a double role: conservation and socialization. For the floor I chose the same tiles for which I opted both in the room and in the bathroom.
The bathroom is an oasis of minimalism and brightness, with white finishes with black geometric lines, a walk-in shower supplied with a glass with black metal frame, white health items and opaque black batteries. The sink is highlighted by the wooden support and the mirror with a rattan frame and the furniture is completed by the wall of the wooden parquet in the radiator area.
