House inspiration - Penthouse arrangement

The choice of the type of accommodation can often be a difficult thing: the house or apartment, the village or the city, are some of the alternatives we have. If you want an apartment and yet you don’t want space to be a problem, arms are the ideal choice.

The songs are apartments, most of the time, in the last floors of the buildings. In addition to the generous space and terraces they have, the attic apartments enjoy popularity and for the view they offer. Today we have prepared some ideas for the arrangement of the songs, inspired by our projects.

Most of the time, a house or apartment with a generous space, like arms, may seem easier to organize, but it is not. The arrangement of a larger space brings many challenges, above all because the beneficiaries have difficulty choosing between a ventilated space and a functional space, which will offer maximum conservation.

Penthouses kitchens

This kitchen has been designed as a contemporary and modern space, in shades of gray and wood plots. I opted for household appliances and furniture built in simple lines, and for the work surface I chose marble, which is also extended on the wall behind the work surface. Here too I organized a place for the meal, where I integrated the natural plots and the colors of the chairs coating are the color accents.

For this kitchen with opening to the living room, we chose to treat the simple, unitary and orderly environment, with a wall decorated with white furniture with a shiny finish, which reflects the light, a mobile designed in order to provide maximum space. The chairs and the wall behind the work surface are in a pleasant contrast with the white and black chosen for the entire decoration and the connection of the functionality of the living kitchen was designed through the dining room.

Stays in Penthouses

This stay was designed as a relaxation space, especially due to the extended curtains on both walls with the windows and the one behind the sofa. All the space is highlighted by the sofa in a pleasant turquoise shade. Black furniture with solar yellow accents, in simple lines, without handles, have enough storage space without loading the space. The central area of the living room is completed by a carpet in brown shades and a table.

The stay of this penthouse in Bucharest is organized in the form of L, so the challenge of an agreement’s proposal was slightly larger. I divided my living room into a relaxing/ socializing area and a dining room, all the space separated from the kitchen through a glass wall.

For the area of relaxation and socialization I chose a blue sofa, integrated by 2 chairs in a shade of yellow. The rest of the space was treated simple, with suspended, gray and straight lines, with closed and open shelves to provide maximum conservation. What is distinguished here is the wall in the TV area, which is also extended in the dining area, plated with ceramic tiles that imitate cement.

The dining room completes the living room: I chose a table with a work surface and glass chairs in the same register, and for the library I chose a body with a black metal structure that is opposed to the rest of the decoration, but perfectly complete the glass wall that separates the kitchen from the rest of the space.

Bedrooms in penthouses

For this bedroom of a penthouse in Bucharest I chose a minimalist-industrial arrangement, in a black and white furniture. The metal textures and the simple lines of the furniture, as well as the metal frame of the bed and the artificial lighting underline the idea of industrial, simple, creating an orderly environment.

For this bedroom I opted for natural wooden plots and beige shades, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The wall behind the bed, made with wooden ribs but also the mirror next to the bed separates the locker room. The space is completed by the white box of drawers with a shiny finish positioned in front of the bed.

Bathrooms in small size

An orderly and simple bathroom with special finishes. I opted for ceramic tiles in beige tones, both for the floor and for the walls and a walk-in shower decorated with 3D ceramic tiles in brick shades. For the Washbasin area I chose suspended, gray and a generous mirror that offers depth to the space.

Terraces inside the attic

The advantages of penthouses include terraces with generous surfaces, which can be arranged as an outdoor living room, with comfortable armchairs or sofas to complete the furniture.
